One of These Things Is Not Like the Other

One of the best things about owning a creative business is the variety of projects I get to work on. Normally I would be elbow deep in some piece of furniture overhaul or drumming up new twists on old decor. But this week, things are a little different. This project may take the cake of wackiest jobs for sure. Take a look:

A local ad agency asked me if I could design and create a chili pepper costume for an ad campaign that they’re working on. You know, something along the lines of the Fruit of the Loom guys. Having never sewn or constructed a foam-and-spandex anything before, I said “Sure! I’ll give it a shot.” I’m actually pretty pleased with it so far. Just a little nip and tuck on the bottom and this pepper will be smokin’. This could be my big break, people ; )
By the way, my husband (pictured) REALLY wants to be the guy in the ad. Look out Justin Timberlake — Bring it on down to chili-ville.

Can you make me into a Fig? That is my most favorite fruit and food in the world. BTW, jumping over to your website to get some pillows, hope they are still available. Will send a picture when they are placed where I want them and the "corner' I finished.

Did you ever see this in print? Just found the ad in Steve's Northwest Business Monthly and laughed out loud! Let me know if you need a copy! tammy

The costume in that print ad was REALLY cheesy and they had to photoshop the heck out of it. The one I'm working on is to replace that one for some tv commercials. Way to be on the lookout, though, Tammy 😉
