Fellow Upholsterers

When I first opened my Etsy shop, I got so overwhelmed with all the details that it took me almost a year and a half before I posted my first item. At that time there were only a handful of shops that sold furniture like I had planned to do. One of the shops was SpruceHome in Austin Texas. I watched their shop from afar and studied everything from how they handled shipping to how often they were relisting their products. In my opinion, these girls are top notch and completely inspirational. I count myself fortunate to be part of this new generation of upholsterers in this country. Now if only my workspace could be this clean, bright and efficient ; )

I liked the video too and think that girls are pretty good…you are in the category as well :)I discovered Etsy 6 months or more ago, and was as well swept away buy the huge online marketplace and community around it. I am still scanning the waters and would like to create a shop, but the furniture is a no sell for me because of the huge shipping costs, even locally here in Europe. It has to be something with low shipping costs. We’ll see…Good luck and good fun for the upcoming show, and let us know how it went.Irena
